Enhanced SafetyNet™ Warranty Program: The following applies if your monitored premise is covered by a Nationwide homeowners insurance policy at the time of loss. If you suffer a property loss, (a) due to accidental water intrusion, fire, smoke or burglary, and (b) the loss is covered by your Nationwide Insurance homeowner's policy, and (c) the loss exceeds your policy deductible, we will pay you an amount equal to your Nationwide homeowners insurance deductible, up to $1,000. Accidental water intrusion includes the sudden, accidental release or overflow of water, from appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines, or from your household plumbing system including the cracking or bursting of household equipment such air conditioners, hot water heaters and sprinkler systems. It also includes water that backs up from outside of your home and enters through a sump pump, sewer or drain, but only if your Nationwide homeowners policy covers these types of water losses.

Enhanced SafetyNet™ Warranty payments are limited to one per occurrence and two in any consecutive 12-month period. We will pay you under this program only if, at the time of your loss, you are our customer and your payments and contract with us are current. To obtain payment for a burglary loss, your system must be armed and our monitoring center must have received an alarm signal from your premises at the time of the occurrence. This program applies to residential systems only and may be modified or discontinued upon 30 days prior notice to you. SafetyNet™ is not a form of insurance, and no employees or representatives of Protection One are authorized to offer or recommend insurance to you.

SafetyNet™ Warranty Program: The following applies if your monitored premise is not covered by a Nationwide homeowners insurance policy at the time of loss. If you should suffer a theft loss due to burglary of your monitored premises, as part of our warranty program, we will reimburse your paid homeowners insurance deductible up to $1,000. If you have a monitored smoke or high temperature (heat) sensor, we will also reimburse up to $1,000 of your paid deductible if you suffer a loss due to fire. Such reimbursement is limited to one time per occurrence and twice in any consecutive 12-month period. We will reimburse you under this program only if, at the time of your loss, you are our customer and your payments and contract with us are current. Within 90 days of the occurrence causing the loss you must provide us (1) a copy of your filed insurance claim,(2) proof of your payment of the deductible portion of your homeowners insurance, and (3) a copy of the declarations page from the insurance policy, and (4) copy of either the police or fire report documenting the loss. To obtain reimbursement, your system must be armed and our monitoring center must have received an alarm signal from your premises at the time of the occurrence. This program applies to residential systems only and may be modified or discontinued upon 30 days prior notice to you.
