Can I arrange to have my Protection One bill automatically paid by my bank?
Yes. You can easily say good-bye to check fees and postage costs. Just call 1-800-GET-HELP, choose option #2, and we will send you the information you need to sign up for our Automatic Bill Payment Service.

What if the power to my home were to go off? Will my security system continue to work?
Yes! Your Protection One security system is equipped with a battery backup, so your home security will continue to protect for several hours after a power failure. It's a good idea to check the batteries in your system regularly.
What if I move from my home? Will my security system move with me?
When you move, we've got you covered! As a current Protection One customer, you're eligible to receive up to $150 towards the installation of a new home security system or the upgrade of an existing security system in your new home through our SecureMove® program. You will also receive free monitoring of your new or upgraded security system for your first two months. (details)

If my security system isn't working correctly, who do I call?
Call 1-800-GET-HELP. Our representatives are on-call all day, every day. Our goal is one-call resolution, correcting your problem during that one phone call whenever possible. If the help of one of our service technicians is necessary, our representatives can promptly schedule a service call that coincides with your schedule.

What if I want to change my contact list?
Changing the information on your call list couldn't be easier. Just call 1-800-GET-HELP, day or night, and our customer service representatives will make the changes for you right away. When I purchased my security system, I registered to have my bills paid through your Automatic Bill Payment Service. Will I receive any bills from Protection One?
You will receive a statement for your first few billing cycles until your Automatic Bill Payment procedure has been set up at your financial institution. After that, your Bill Payment Service will debit your recurring charges as defined in your security monitoring agreement. You will receive a statement for any one-time charges on our account, such as additional equipment or service-call charges.

I understand that my security system should be tested regularly. How do I test my system?
You should test your security system at least once a month to make sure that it is in good working order. Call 1-800-GET-HELP, and tell our customer service representative that you want to test your home security system. You will find us more than happy to walk you through the testing process.
