Protection One goes one step further than other security providers with triple redundant monitoring. Most monitoring providers have a primary computer system that houses their data, and some even have onsite backup systems. When any monitored Protection One alarm goes off, it transmits a signal through our primary computer system and our onsite backup system, and then through a third system located offsite in our Disaster Recovery Center.
Disaster Recovery Center
Protection One's FM-rated, UL-listed main monitoring facility is equipped with the latest UPS and backup generators. Our Disaster Recovery Center was implemented, however, to address the remote possibility of a catastrophic event affecting operations at the main center.
This specialized Disaster Recovery Center contains auxiliary workstations, and trained professionals are standing by and ready to take over if disaster should strike.
